Excalibur Consulting LLC holds Private Investigation Company license #A15476, issued by the Texas State Private Security Board. J. Patrick O'Burke is licensed as the investigations company manager and a private investigator. Mr. O'Burke holds numerous professional licenses in multiple States that support delivery of professional services for our clients.

 

Mr. O'Burke honorably retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Commander in the Criminal Law Enforcement Division. He has more than thirty years of experience in conducting and managing open and undercover investigations. Mr. O'Burke holds certificates as a Master Police Officer and several Instructor Certificates. Mr. O'Burke is a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from an accredited Texas University.

 

Mr. O'Burke has conducted more than 8,000 polygraphs since 1983 and is licensed in Texas and Louisiana. Mr. O'Burke's use of polygraph has helped identify guilty suspects as well as clearing wrongfully accused persons. Mr. O'Burke is a subject matter expert in interviewing and he has obtained thousands of confessions for crimes ranging from murder to theft. Mr. O'Burke has testified in court on hundreds of occasions and is considered a subject matter expert on polygraph matters. Mr. O'Burke meets JPCOT and PCSOT accreditation standards for conducting sex offender polygraph testing. Mr. O'Burke is a member of the American Polygraph Association, the American Association of Police Polygraphists, the National Association of Polygraphists, and numerous other professional associations. Mr. O'Burke is currently a President on the Board of Directors for the American Polygraph Association.
