Excalibur Consulting LLC holds Private Investigation Company license #A15476, issued by the Texas Private Security Board. J. Patrick O'Burke is licensed as the investigations company manager and a private investigator. 

Mr. OBurke holds polygraph examiner license #801 in Texas that is issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. 

Excalibur Consulting LLC holds polygraph examiner company license #2173E issued by the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board.  J. Patrick OBurke is the licensed polygraph examiner in Nevada for our company. 

Mr. O'Burke is honorably retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Commander in the Criminal Law Enforcement Division. He has more than thirty years of experience in conducting and managing open and undercover investigations. Mr. O'Burke continues to hold certificates as a Master Police Officer and Police Instructor.  Mr. O'Burke is a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from an accredited Texas University.  Mr. OBurke is also a current Masters degree program student in criminology.

Mr. O'Burke has conducted more than 8,000 criminal, PCSOT and screening polygraph examinations since 1983.  Mr. OBurke is a Past President of the American Polygraph Association and is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Mr. OBurke is also a member of the American Association of Police Polygraphists, the Texas Association of Law Enforcement Polygraph Investigators, and the Texas Association of Polygraph Examiners.  Mr. OBurke is qualified to conduct polygraphs on high risk supervised clientele such as sex offenders.  Mr. O'Burke's use of polygraph has helped identify thousands of guilty suspects, as well as clearing many wrongfully accused persons.  Mr. O'Burke is a subject matter expert in interviewing and has written and lectured extensively on this subject. Mr. O'Burke has testified in court on hundreds of occasions and is considered a subject matter expert on polygraph matters and interview and interrogation.  We offer case review and specific training on the issue of false confessions.
